How can I add this event to my Calendar?

Once registered, you are welcome to save the event to your electronic diary. To do so press “Add to my calendar” button, on the registration screen. You can then choose whether to download the invitation or add it to Google. If you choose to download, you will see a small icon appear on your screen once the download is complete (for most people this will be on the bottom left-hand corner), which will need to be clicked on.

Once you “Add to my calendar” you will get an entry in your calendar which will have a link on it for you to click on the night.

What technology do I need to watch this event?

You can watch webcasts from your tablet, smartphone or desktop PC. The website is optimised for the latest two versions of each major browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari).

What Internet connection do I need?

We recommend having a wired or wireless connection with at least 1Mbps (ideally more) to watch the webcast the way it was meant to be seen. If you are unsure what your bandwidth is, you can test your speed at speedtest.net.

How can I improve the Video and Audio Quality?

If the video appears to be buffering a lot, you can try to alternate the stream by clicking the "Change Stream" button on the player and selecting an alternate stream. If you are still finding that you are getting buffering, choose “Audio only” to listen to the audio without the video.

You can also choose to watch a specific quality of stream by clicking the cog icon in the bottom right of the player and select a different option.

The sound is very quiet, what can I do?

Check to make sure that you have turned the volume up on your device. How to do this varies from device to device but it is often on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

The picture is small, can I make it bigger?

If you want to change your view so the stream takes up your full screen, then you can do that. To the bottom right of where the stream is playing click on the button that looks like a white square with a black cross inside of it. This is full screen and will give you full screen mode. To exit this mode press the escape button on your keyboard or the non-full screen button on the bottom right of the screen.

My video has frozen, what should I do?

If the video freezes, please refresh your browser. Shift-F5 on a PC. Use the refresh icon on a MacBook or iPad. If you are still having problems, check your Internet by trying to watch a video from another site such as YouTube.

What are the polls and surveys?

During the live event we will invite you to participate in the electronic polls and at the end to fill in a feedback form, where you can also ask us any questions. These will be presented on the screen. Please submit your response via the form.

If you ask us a question in the feedback form, we will reply to you using the email address you registered with, unless you ask to communicate with you in another way when you ask the question. For example, if you want us to phone you please write please phone me and then list the phone number you would like us to use.
