How do I sign up to donate monthly via my mobile phone bill?

It's simple. Just enter your mobile number on our mobile giving page and press ‘submit’. Confirm your donation by replying YES to the free text we send you and your first £3 donation will be taken immediately.

Your reply message will incur a standard rate message cost from your network provider. For more information see our Terms and Conditions.
 

How is my monthly donation taken from my account?

Each month your phone bill will be charged with the £3 donation you make to us. For Pay As You Go contracts this will be taken off your available credit. Contracts will see an extra line on your phone bill each month. Cancer Research UK receives 100% of each £3 donation.
 

How do I skip my next donation?

Each month we will send you a text before we take your donation. You can choose to skip your donation by simply replying SKIP meaning you won’t donate that month.
 

How do I stop my next donation?

If you wish to stop your monthly giving via text just reply STOP to the free text we send and your donations will be cancelled with immediate effect.
 

How do I make a change to my donation amount?

If you'd like to change your donation amount, please call Customer Care Line on 0203 282 7862 (Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm). You can choose to give monthly donations of £3 or £5.

 

Can I switch my donation to a direct debit?

If you would like to change to a direct debit, simply text STOP to 70002 to cancel your current £3 monthly donation, or STOP to 70088 to cancel your £5 donation. You can then start donating via a direct debit by entering your details here.
 

How will my donations be spent?

The vast majority of this money is spent on our life-saving research to help beat cancer. A smaller amount is spent on our information and policy work, and we also invest some money into future fundraising to make sure we can plan our research into the future. You can find out more about this here.
