Our partnership with Avon launched in 2018 to increase breast cancer awareness. Since then, we’ve been amazed by Avon and the Avon Foundation’s commitment to ensuring every woman knows the risks and signs of breast cancer, and how and when to take action through the ‘Avon Breast Cancer Promise’. Together, we believe that no woman should die because she was left in the dark about breast cancer.
Breast health is a topic close to Avon’s heart. Since 1992, Avon and the Avon Foundation for Women have contributed more than $925m to breast cancer causes, educated 300 million women about the disease and funded breast health screening for more than 20 million women.
Through our collaboration, Avon and the Avon Foundation have kickstarted and supported some brilliant initiatives.
Our partnership's initiatives
The Pink Light Project for 2018’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month was one of Avon's most successful campaigns to date, reaching representatives in 57 countries and a staggering 300 million women.
In 2020, Avon will be launching a new breast cancer e-learning module to empower and educate millions of Avon Representatives and their networks across the globe and give them the tools they need to educate themselves and others about the disease.
Cancer Research UK's breast cancer information webpages reach more than 2.2 million people every year.
