This study is to collect information about brain tumours and their treatment

Cancer type:

Brain (and spinal cord) tumours

Status:

Open

Phase:

Other

In this study researchers are collecting information about treatment for primary brain tumours Open a glossary item and which treatment might be best for certain brain tumours.

It is open to people with a brain tumour that has:

  • been diagnosed for the first time or
  • come back after treatment

As part of the study the team ask for a piece of tissue that was removed during your surgery. They also look at your medical notes.

The main aim of the study is to better understand primary brain tumours and how best to treat them depending on the tumour type.

Please note you will not gain any direct benefit from taking part in this study. Any information gained will be used to help better treat people with a primary brain tumour in the future.
