Thank you for making our events possible!

With our 2026 events season ending soon, we wanted to say a huge thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who’ve supported at events up and down the UK this summer and autumn.

From cheering participants over the finish line at our Race for Life events, to helping us light up the night at our Shine Night Walks – you’ve played an essential role in powering our events.

We’ve really grateful for your energy, passion and support, and we hope you’ve enjoyed your volunteer experience!

Life-saving breakthroughs, thanks to you

Thanks to you, our researchers are driving real progress for people with cancer. With your support, we spent £416m on new and ongoing research last year.

In our annual supporter update, we’ve gathered some of our most exciting updates from the past 12 months so you can see the big strides we’re making. We’re also shining a spotlight on the many innovative and creative ways that volunteers and supporters are raising vital funds, to help shape a better future for people affected by cancer.
