About the opportunity
We’re seeking views from people affected by cancer, either as a patient or those who have supported someone with cancer, and who are based in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Your views and experiences will help us develop Cancer Research UK’s manifestos for the Scottish Parliament and Senedd elections in 2026 and the Northern Ireland Assembly election in 2027.
Our manifesto for each nation will include the most important recommendations, that if prioritised and implemented by the government/executive, we believe will help transform cancer outcomes.
Why we want your views
We’d like to hear about your experiences of cancer care and understand what you think the next governments in Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland should prioritise to improve cancer care and outcomes.
Your views are essential to ensure our manifestos reflect what matters most to people affected by cancer; they’re credible and likely to have the biggest impact for patients in the future. We know experiences differ from one nation to the next, so it’s also important we gather and understand the views and experiences of people affected by cancer in each nation. This will allow us to effectively secure improvements and investments that are most relevant to the nation you live in.
There are no right or wrong answers for this survey. Please provide as much or as little detail as you would like.
