With around 150  women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 390 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is around two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help us find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.

Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and almost 6 in 10 people diagnosed will now survive their disease for 10 years or more. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 44 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.

Each year, more than 1700 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive their disease for 10 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK discover better and kinder treatments for all cancers and to continue to improve overall survival for childhood cancer.

Five-year survival for leukaemia has quadrupled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your fundraising can help us find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.

Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in the UK. Each year around 46,400 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK, and the disease claims around 35,900 lives. Help Cancer Research UK prevent and treat lung cancer with your donation.
