Pledge Pathway to Progress Garden Designer
Tom Simpson Garden Designer
RHS gold medal winning garden designer Tom Simpson has always had a great passion for gardens and the natural landscape. With a background in film and television, Tom decided to pursue his passion for gardens and retrained as a garden designer.
In July 2018 Tom won a gold medal at the prestigious RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show for The South West Water Green Garden. Tom made the rare achievement of winning a gold medal for his first ever garden at an RHS show. The judges commended the garden for its originality, ambition and flair.
Tom was selected as one of Pro Landscaper’s 30 under 30, a prestigious award celebrating young talent in the landscaping industry. As one of the thirty winners of 2018, Tom has been tipped as a young designer with a bright future ahead of him.
Attending London College of Garden Design, Tom graduated with distinction in 2016 and was awarded the External Judges Award, a special commendation for excellence. Following on from his success at LCGD, Tom was shortlisted for the Society of Garden Designers Student Awards in 2016.
Tom approaches each project with the same enthusiasm and dedication, working hard to achieve the best and most beautiful solution for his clients.
I am thrilled to be working with Cancer Research UK designing a garden with such a positive and important message. The work they do changes lives and I hope that the garden goes some way to encourage more pledges of support so that this important work may continue.
