Celebrating Volunteers’ Week!

Volunteers Week logo

Volunteers’ Week took place from 2 – 8 June, and we took the opportunity to say a huge thank you to our brilliant community of volunteers and supporters for everything you do for Cancer Research UK. By giving your time, you are helping to fund research that saves lives, and we're really grateful for your support.

Head to our Volunteers’ Week webpage to watch a special thank you message from Michelle Mitchell, our Chief Executive; hear first-hand from some of our incredible volunteers; and see how we celebrated Volunteers’ Week across the charity.

Race for Life 2025

Every year, thousands of people come together on start lines up and down the country to help save and improve the lives of those affected by cancer.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our Race for Life events, and we’re on the lookout for more people to help bring this year’s events to life. Whether you’re already part of our wider volunteer community, or looking to get involved for the first time, we would really appreciate your support.
