Are you passionate about improving cancer research and care? Do you want to help ensure the voices of patients, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds are heard in funding decisions?
Cancer Research UK and Stand Up to Cancer are partnering to fund joint UK-US research teams focused on preventing cancer recurrence in patients who have previously been treated and considered cancer-free. We believe that involving people with lived experience is essential to making meaningful progress.

- Be passionate about research and representing diverse UK voices
- Be comfortable reviewing proposals and sharing feedback
- Have good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
You DO NOT need a background in research, science, or healthcare.
What you’ll do
- Review the patient relevance and impact of research proposals
- Advise on funding decisions from a patient and public perspective
