About this event
Shine Local Hamsterley Forest (in aid of Teesdale Cancer Research UK) takes place on Friday 26 September.
Arrive at 5pm for a 6pm start. Let's see the community come together to light up the Forest. Walk for loved ones. Walk for future generations. Walk with friends old and new to raise vital funds for life-saving research in the North East. In the last 50 years, we've helped double cancer survival in the UK. Help us power more progress.
On The Day
Arrive at 5pm for a 6pm start. Park at the Visitor Centre and bring a torch.
Come along with family and friends, enjoy a gentle warm up and walk 5km through the forest as Marshals guide you round the route. Parking, refreshments and toilets available. Once signed up we will provide you with a checklist of everything you need to bring with you and how to prepare for the walk too. Dogs (on leads) welcome. Fun 'light up' accessories available for a donation.
