Comprehensive, up-to-date, statistics and information on 28 cancers occurring in the UK is presented here. There are data on cancer incidence, mortality, survival and risk factors (causes) and include tables and charts of the statistics. Some sections also detail screening, treatment or other information specific to that cancer.
Much of the statistical information is available to download from each page.
Key messages on incidence, survival, mortality, risk factors (causes) and a summary table of the statistics are presented in the Key Facts.
Tabulations of the numbers and rates of incidence cases and deaths are presented in the Data Tables.
The latest statistics available for these cancers are (in most cases); incidence 2010, mortality 2010, and survival 2005-2009. Source years are specified in each section. Please note that some data in this section are older and that 2010 data are coming soon. Find out why these are the most up to date statistics available.
