Cancer Awareness Roadshow
We have created a central resources hub for Health Professionals which hosts all of our CRUK resources and further materials to help with managing the pandemic. We are updating the information as guidance changes. There is also a page specifically for patients on our about cancer hub.
Covid-19 Update – 4th November 2020
In light of the latest Government announcements, we will be pausing our Cancer Awareness Roadshow activity in England. We will be continuing Roadshow activity in Scotland for the moment but will be keeping this under close review. The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and the public are our top priority. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and will be back on the road when it’s safe to do so.
Come visit us
Our four regional teams travel around Scotland, North West, North East and London in the areas we’re needed most. We mostly set up outdoors, but you can find us in shopping centres, libraries or other community venues. We take the Roadshow to big events too – e.g. agricultural shows, Pride events, Melas and other community and cultural events.
We often return to the same venues to give us an opportunity to provide ongoing support to people, and for people we’ve chatted with to come back and let us know how they’re getting on or for further help and signposting.
Opening times vary but generally you can visit anytime between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday to Thursday.
