Thanks to advances in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, more than one million deaths have been avoided in the UK since the mid-1980s.* Today, 8 in 10 people who receive cancer drugs on the NHS in the UK receive a drug developed by us, or with us. Together, we can build on this progress.

Boards like Construction Beats Cancer are helping fund breakthroughs like trialling world's first vaccine aiming to help prevent lung cancer. Researchers from University of Oxford and University College London have developed a preventative vaccine called LungVax, which is now heading to trial in people at high risk of lung cancer.
