Every pound raised supports our life-saving research.

Ways you can support our boards

Whether you're in business, sport, recruitment or law, there are a range of boards you can support, with a variety of ways to get involved in a way that works for you.

  • Set up a new board in your area - whatever your sector, we can help you set up a new Beats Cancer board in your area.
  • Join one of our existing boards - we have a range of boards across the country, spanning sectors from sports and business to many more.
  • Attend an event - enjoy an evening of fine dining, networking, auctions and raffles, hosted by one of our Beats Cancer boards.
  • Donate - donate to one of our Beats Cancer boards to help fund life-saving cancer research. You can also donate an auction or raffle prize.

Types of boards you can join

 

In 2024 our Beats Cancer boards collectively raised £1,107,323.

Thanks to advances in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, more than one million deaths have been avoided in the UK since the mid-1980s.* But we have so much more to do. Every pound raised helps power progress.

Prevent
Our research led to the development of the HPV vaccine which is expected to prevent almost 90% of cervical cancer cases in the UK.

Detect
In the last 50 years, our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK. Early detection has played an important role in this.

We also pioneer new treatments.  More than 8 in 10 people who receive cancer drugs in the UK receive a drug developed by us, or with us.*
