This study is looking at neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and protein supplements to maintain muscle strength and mass after surgery.
It is open to people who are having surgery at the Royal Derby Hospital to remove:
bowel (colorectal) cancer
stomach (gastric) cancer
