Details

This study is collecting samples from people who are having cancer treatment before surgery for rectal cancer.

It is for people whose cancer has spread into surrounding tissues. This is called locally advanced cancer.

It is for people having treatment at the Christie Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester.

Recruitment start: 30 October 2025

Recruitment end: 30 March 2027
