Thousands of people take part in our events every year so we can continue beating cancer. And our event volunteers make it all possible.
Whether you're handing out medals at Race for Life or guiding participants around a Big Hike course, event volunteering is a fun way to get involved. Sign up as a group or go solo and meet like-minded people on the day.
We have many volunteering roles on offer at our events. You will get a full briefing when you arrive, so you feel confident and ready to get stuck in. Depending on the event you could be:
Cheering on participants around the course
Handing out medals at the finish line
Supporting and signposting participants
We also offer micro and set-up volunteering opportunities at our events. Our micro volunteering roles are perfect for people with a few hours to give. Event set-up roles are ideal for weekday volunteers. Simply choose your role type on the event volunteer application form, or search for set-up volunteer roles.
