Shout about your challenge - keep sharing your online Giving Page on different platforms

Share your Giving Page with friends, family, colleagues, and any clubs or communities you’re part of. Post it across your social media, or add the link to your email signature. People often need a few reminders before they decide to donate.

Personalise and update your Giving Page regularly

Tell your supporters why you’re taking part. Add images and videos to keep your supporters updated on your challenge progress. Fundraisers who add a post and image to their page typically raise double the amount.

Set a fundraising target and make the first donation

Fundraisers who set a target raise significantly more than those who don’t, plus, we'll be sending out medals to everyone who raises £150 or more. Making the first contribution encourages others to follow your lead.

Host a wrap up event

Hold a wrap‑up event to celebrate finishing your challenge. Thank everyone who supported you and get in those last-minute extra donations.

Encourage your supports to add Gift Aid to their donation

If your supporters pay UK tax, encourage them to add Gift Aid to their donation and the Government will give Cancer Research UK 25% extra, recovered from the tax that they pay.
