With every £1 ticket bought you’ll be supporting our life-saving work, helping to prevent, detect and treat over 200 types of cancer.

In 2025 we raised £4.5 million from the sale of entries to our Weekly Lottery. 77% of these proceeds were used to help support our vital work. We used 17% to run and administer our Weekly Lottery and 6% to pay prizes.

Meet Andy

By finding out more about how melanoma can spread, it could further improve treatments and ultimately help to save more lives of those people diagnosed with melanoma in the future.

Andy's story:

Andy was diagnosed with melanoma in 2011, after what he thought was just a skin tag on his leg which suddenly began to bleed. Melanoma is a type of skin cancer and the fifth most common cancer in the UK. Developing melanoma can depend on many things. However, in the UK, too much ultraviolet radiation causes around 85 out of 100 melanomas. Andy was referred to a skin specialist where the growth was removed and found to be cancerous. He then underwent further surgery to remove a wider area of skin as well as his lymph nodes.
