Our partnership with NIVEA SUN launched in July 2012 to raise vital funds for skin cancer research. Since then, we've helped millions of people stay safe in the sun with our annual campaign, featuring our easy-to-remember 1+2+3 steps to enjoy the sun safely:

Over the years, the campaign has included co-branded video ads which share sun safety messaging and in-store promotions which prominently display messages in supermarkets across the UK. Outdoor advertising, PR initiatives and social media campaigns target audiences during periods of high UV exposure, often using case studies and sun-safety tips to drive positive behaviour change. Additionally, high-profile influencers have helped expand the campaign’s reach to their social media following, further amplifying the partnership’s life-saving health messaging.
As well as the national initiatives, the campaign has taken messaging to the hearts of local communities through the award-winning Sun Safety Tour. The annual tour travels to high-footfall locations across the country, offering suncream samples to provide on the day protection and sun-safety games and messaging to maximise awareness throughout the summer months. As well as the annual awareness campaign, the partnership continues to raise vital funds for skin cancer research.
