Laryngeal cancer
You usually see your GP first if you notice a change that isn't normal for you. They will ask about your symptoms and may arrange some general tests.
Your GP should arrange for you to see a specialist if you have symptoms that could be due to laryngeal cancer.
Screening means testing people for early stages of a disease. This is before they have any symptoms. There is no national screening programme for laryngeal cancer in the UK.
You usually have a number of tests to check for laryngeal cancer. The tests you might have include a camera test to look inside your nose and throat.
