Thyroid Stats Doughnut

  • 2,727 people in the UK were diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2011.
  • There were 373 deaths from thyroid cancer in the UK in 2012.
  • Around 75.0% of adult thyroid cancer patients (74.2% of men and 78.9% of women) in England and Wales survived their cancer for five years or more in 1996-1999.
