If you don’t have a group to book a workshop with, join others from different organisations in our free online workshop.

We try to accommodate multiple people from the same organisation, but if there are more than two people, we may not be able to have everyone attend and would instead recommend a private group workshop.

No, we don’t record workshops. This helps us maintain confidentiality, safeguarding. We also feel our workshops work best live, due to their interactive nature.

When do you deliver workshops?

We deliver workshops all year round.

Can you deliver talks on specific cancers?

We don’t currently offer talks on specific types of cancer.

Instead, our workshops focus on general cancer awareness, including how to reduce the risk, spot signs early, and understand the national screening programmes.

How important is cancer awareness?

There is a lot of misinformation about cancer. By accessing evidence-based information you can correctly help people on how to take positive action to reduce cancer risk. Around 4 in 10 cases of cancer in the UK could be prevented and it is estimated that across the UK, there are more than 30,000 extra cases of cancer attributable to socio-economic deprivation(PDF). Increasing cancer awareness in more deprived areas could help to reduce health inequalities and improve cancer outcomes.

What is cancer awareness?

Cancer awareness is when people understand:

Further understanding of cancer awareness could include what happens after a cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment
