Arrange a Furniture Collection

Donate quality furniture items and help raise much needed funds for our life-saving work.
Cancer Research UK furniture collection
Donating furniture keeps products and materials in use for longer, making more use of the energy and resources used to make them.
To arrange a furniture collection, you can call or visit your local superstore who can take a booking over the phone or in person, or you can complete our online form. Please note that not all of our superstores accept furniture.
Your pre-collection checklist
Donating furniture keeps products and materials in use for longer, making more use of the energy and resources used to make them. Here are a few things to consider when donating to us. Please make sure:
- items are not stained, torn, marked or damaged — very minor damage may be accepted by our drivers if the item is still saleable, especially if items are of very high quality.
- items are not stained, torn, marked or damaged — very minor damage may be accepted by our drivers if the item is still saleable, especially if items are of very high quality.
- items can be removed from the property safely and without causing damage to either the item or property — our drivers cannot remove doors or windows for access.
- large items, such as bed frames, are dismantled and ready prior to the agreed collection date — our drivers do not offer a disassembly service.

Important information
- If you live in an area accepting online bookings, your booking will be sent to a local Cancer Research UK superstore and they will either accept or reject the collection based on the items and their current stock.
- If you have submitted photos as part of the booking process, this increases the chance that the store can accept your booking so please do so where possible.
- You will be sent a text message confirming your job with a unique link where you can view further details of your booking, and the evening before your chosen date you will receive a timeslot via SMS for the day after. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to select a timeslot or designate a preference for when your job will be carried out.
Please remember that if a collection is unsuccessful for any reason, it still costs us money so it's important to make sure your items meet our guidelines.
If you have any questions, please call your local Cancer research UK superstore before your collection date.
