Cancer Research UK is calling on passionate, organised, and community-minded individuals to help Turn Tiverton Pink. You’ll play a key role in bringing people together, raising awareness, and helping fund life-saving research.
Lead the planning and delivery of the Turn Tiverton Pink campaign
Engage local businesses, schools, and community groups to take part
Organise fundraising activities and pink-themed events
Promote the campaign through local media and social channels
Inspire others to get involved and make a difference
We have a range of different roles available, such as Promotions co-ordinator, Budget and Funds co-ordinator, Social Media co-ordinator, and Communications co-ordinator, or you might prefer to help out ad-hoc.
Great communication and organisational skills.
Enthusiasm for community engagement and fundraising.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for supporting Cancer Research UK’s mission.
This is a home-based role in Tiverton or surrounding areas; however, part of your role will include you being ‘out and about’ in the community e.g. committee meetings, fundraising events etc.
As this is a flexible volunteering opportunity this is something to discuss with your Local Relationship Manager and we will help you find the best way to help beat cancer sooner.
We have a range of roles depending on your circumstances and availability, every volunteer is a valued supporter to Cancer Research UK. You might take on a specific role or you might be happy just helping out ad-hoc.
An induction and ongoing support and guidance from your Relationship Manager as well as fellow volunteers.
Advice on how to set up and promote a variety of fundraising events.
The opportunity to visit one of our research laboratories to see how your money helps save lives.
We will reimburse agreed out of pocket expenses.
