Join the Involvement NetworkWe’re looking for two people affected by cancer to help guide a new programme of work to identify which staff are needed in our health services to provide care and treatment for those with bowel/colorectal and gynaecological cancer. Your lived experience will help ensure the work reflects real patient journeys and needs, and that we won’t miss any staff essential to patient care.
Cancer Research UK has not organised the following opportunities. External charities and organisations separate from Cancer Research UK run them. You'll work directly with that organisation when taking part.

Have you or someone you know been admitted to intensive care after a cancer diagnosis? Researchers at the University of Glasgow are looking for input from patients aged 16-25, or carers of children and young people with cancer. You can shape future research by being involved in co-design research groups.
You’re invited to take part in a research study led by the University of Aberdeen, exploring how people look after their health while living with or beyond cancer. Your experiences can help researchers understand the challenges and efforts involved, and inform better support and interventions for the future.
The Participant Panel at Genomics England is seeking new members and a Vice-chair for Cancer to ensure that the voices of people and their families inform everything Genomics England does, keeping participants’ interests at the heart of decisions made about how their data is used. The Participant Panel is made up of people with a range of lived experiences who have consented for their de-identified genomic data, or the data of someone they care for, to be held in the National Genomic Research Library (NGRL).
OurBrainBank UK and Imperial College London are running a short survey to understand how many people explore treatment options outside the NHS. It takes around 15 minutes, and you can take part whether you’ve considered alternative treatments or not. Patients and caregivers are welcome.
