This study aims to understand the beliefs, decision-making process, and outcome expectations regarding breast reconstruction for Black and minority ethnic women.
They are hoping to speak with Black and minority ethnic women who have undergone mastectomy and/or reconstruction to learn about their personal experiences. They will also need to fill out a demographic questionnaire. No previous research experience is necessary, just the willingness to take part in an informal discussion about their experience.
They want to support interventions that are sensitive to the cultural needs of minority ethnic women, ultimately improving breast reconstruction services for all UK women with breast cancer.
