Opportunity information

The New Hospital Programme (NHP) knows that the best hospital designs are created with the people who use them. That’s why they want to work with patients, families, carers and wider communities to understand what really matters. Through workshops, lived experience partnerships and their Patient & Public Advisory Group, insights help them shape safer, more inclusive and more patient centred hospitals, from the layout and accessibility features to emergency care environments and overall patient experience.

Your involvement ensures the hospitals of the future truly reflect your needs, strengthen transparency, and avoid costly design mistakes.

Would you like to take part?

The NHP are growing their online community of practice patient forums. These forums are open to anyone with lived experience of using hospital services.

They are also planning an in-person patient involvement event in London, where you’ll be able to explore design ideas and share your experiences directly with the team.

Please note: unfortunately they are unable to cover any travel or other expenses for participation.

If you would like to take part in the online forum or find out more about the event in London, contact Nhp.healthcareengagement@nhs.net.
