Event Details

Set in the heart of Warwickshire, this triathlon brings together scenic countryside views, a welcoming atmosphere, and an accessible multi‑sport challenge for athletes of all abilities. Whether you're new to triathlon or chasing a new goal, this event is the perfect way to swim, bike, and run your way to an incredible achievement. You’ll begin with a 200m pool‑based swim at Stratford Leisure Centre, offering a calm and supportive start to the race. From there, you’ll head out onto an 18km countryside cycle route, taking in open roads, rural scenery, and gentle rolling landscape. The event finishes with a 2.5km flat towpath run, giving you iconic views along the River Avon as you make your final push toward the finish line. With its countryside bike course and flat, friendly run route, the Warwickshire Triathlon is open to everyone, no matter your ability or experience level.

The Warwickshire Triathlon is also part of the UK Triathlon Cancer Research UK Wave, a wave dedicated to raising money for Cancer Research UK. The Cancer Research UK Wave encourages participants, of any age, gender or ability, to unite and take on a challenge that will help fund life-saving research into over 200 types of cancer.

Rika joined Team Cancer Research UK in 2025, running in memory of her Mum.

"I relied on Cancer Research UK to learn more about breast cancer when my mum was diagnosed. Educating myself was a productive way to try and process everything. I eventually lost my mum to breast cancer in March 2020. It was a no brainer when it came to choosing a charity to raise money for. My mum was a gym bunny, so I thought she’d find it funny that I was going to be running in her memory. I enjoyed every single mile."
