Whats happening on the day? Cheer Point: Keep an eye out for the Cancer Research UK cheer point. Our amazing volunteers will be there to cheer you on! We are always looking for event volunteers, so why not see if your friends and family would like to sign up to volunteer at our cheer point. Post-Race Reception: Join us for the Cancer Research UK post-race reception after you have finished your run. This is for runners only! You’ll find us at the Cancer Research UK Charity Marquee in the Event Village – look out for the Cancer Research UK branding and flags. We will be waiting to celebrate with you at the post race reception with • Tea, coffee and snacks to help you recover • Giveaways • Photobooth to commemorate your day • Information about Cancer Research UK and other ways to get involved

Take on the 2027 adidas Manchester Marathon

Whether you already have your own place or you'd like a charity place, join Team Cancer Research UK in 2027 for the adidas Manchester Marathon and play your part in supporting vital cancer research.

Get a charity place

Charity places will be open from Friday 17th April. You can still join the waiting list and we will make contact with you when a place becomes available. Entry fee: £20 Minimum fundraising target: £650

Use my own place

Once you've secured your place in the 2027 adidas Manchester Marathon, use it to join Team Cancer Research UK and fundraise for vital cancer research. No extra entry fee, you'll have already paid the event organiser. Set your own fundraising target.

About the adidas Manchester Marathon

Take on 26.2 miles around one of the UK's flattest and fastest courses at the adidas Manchester Marathon.

With only 55m of elevation gain, this race is a personal best winner. Starting at the iconic Old Trafford Stadium, and finishing in front of the University of Manchester campus the route sweeps through the whole of Manchester.
