Once you have secured your place in Great Manchester Run Half Marathon 2027, use it to join our Team Cancer Research UK and fundraise for vital Cancer Research. No entry fee. You would have already paid the event organiser. Set your own fundraising target!
The Great Manchester Run Half Marathon is one of the newest Great Run events and with live bands and Cancer Research UK cheer points along route, it is the perfect event for taking the next step on your running journey.
The start line is on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Street and will take in the views of Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, the award-winning Imperial War Museum and The Lowry. You will also pass the famous cobbles of Coronation Street’s set and the remarkable landmark the Beetham Tower, the 47-storey skyscraper which almost marks the finish line.
Get a charity place for just £20 when you pledge to fundraise a minimum of £300. Together we will beat cancer.
On the day we will be out on the course at our charity cheer bus ready and waiting to scream your name, so make sure you keep an eye out as you run the course. After you have finished make sure you join us at our postrace reception, where we can congratulate you personally.
