About Shine Night Walk Liverpool
Shine Night Walk is your chance to light up Liverpool’s streets and support life-saving research.
Walk solo and meet friends along the way, or sign up as a group and walk together.
With Shine Night Walk you can choose to fundraise for a cancer cause close to your heart, or simply where the need is greatest.

The route
The Shine Night Walk in Liverpool takes you through the heart of the city past some of the city's most iconic landmarks.
Depending on your pace, the 10k route will take between 1.5 - 3 hours.

Over the last 40 years our work has helped double breast cancer survival, supported the development of radiotherapy and played a role in developing 8 of the world’s top 10 cancer drugs.

How fundraising helps Liverpool
The Liverpool adult and paediatric Experimental Cancer Medicine Centres (ECMC) are a unique partnership between CRUK and the National Institute for Health Research in England to bring together lab scientists and cancer doctors to speed up the flow of ideas and new treatments from the lab to the clinic.

- We’re harnessing the power of the immune system to stop pancreatic cancer from spreading.
- We’re understanding why some throat cancers don’t respond to treatment.
- We’re improving treatment for people with follicular lymphoma.

Fundraising support
We’re here to help you kickstart your fundraising and smash your target. We recommend a fundraising goal of £100 for 10K walkers, but no matter how much you raise, your fundraising powers our progress.
