To arrange a furniture collection, you can call or visit your local superstore who can take a booking over the phone or in person, or you can complete our online form. Please note that not all of our superstores accept furniture.
Donating furniture keeps products and materials in use for longer, making more use of the energy and resources used to make them. Here are a few things to consider when donating to us. Please make sure:
furniture complies with fire retardant standards or has relevant fire safety labelling (unless pre-1950s)
cushions and cushion covers have relevant fire safety label attached to the outer cover or inner filling
items are not stained, torn, marked or damaged — very minor damage may be accepted by our drivers if the item is still saleable, especially if items are of very high quality.
items can be removed from the property safely and without causing damage to either the item or property — our drivers cannot remove doors or windows for access.
large items, such as bed frames, are dismantled and ready prior to the agreed collection date — our drivers do not offer a disassembly service.
there is an adult over the age of 18 present at the property for the collection; we’re not able to collect if there isn’t an adult present.
items are moved outside the property on the day of collection (Drivers can’t go inside properties to retrieve items).
We appreciate all donations, but we are unable to accept items which we cannot sell and would require us to pay for disposal. This includes anything dirty, damaged or with missing parts.
Please securely wrap fragile items to avoid breakages.
