Please follow the step by step process from your Giving Page to connect to Strava.
First you will need to have or set up a Strava account.
From your Giving Page click the link to connect to Strava. You will need to accept permission for Strava to share your activities with CRUK.
To complete your connection, you will need to select your settings and click ‘save’.
You can update your settings at any time.
Reasons why your Strava activities may not be appearing:
This could be due to the date ranges you have set. In the ‘Change Strava Settings' section you can change the date range for when your Strava activities will appear on your page.
There can sometimes be a short delay between completing your activity and your activity appearing on your page. Please check your Giving Page again later.
Your Strava activity does not match the activity types you have selected in your Strava settings. You can update the activity type that appears on your Giving Page in the 'Change Strava Settings' section.
Your Strava privacy settings are not set to 'everyone'. You can only change Privacy settings in Strava.
You can delete any activity you don’t want to appear on your Giving Page by using the delete option below the activity posted on your Giving Page.
Reasons why your total may be wrong:
Your activity tracker is calculated from all activities on your Giving Page. If you only want one type of activity to count towards your target, please remove the other activity types from your Giving Page via the settings section.
Your activity tracker is calculated from all activities in the timeframe you've set. If you want your tracker to count your challenge progress only, please set your start date to the day you started your challenge.
If your Strava activities are set to private they will not be counted by your activity tracker. You can only change Privacy settings in Strava.
We are still in the process of building functionality to allow you to disconnect Strava from your Giving Page. See the current option below for how to remove Strava from your Giving Page. There are a few options:
Firstly, you can disconnect the Strava connection from the Strava app or website.
You can update your Strava setting from your Giving Page and deselect all activity types.
You can update your Strava setting from your Giving Page and change the date range to no longer show future Strava activities.
Finally, you can delete the Strava activities from your Giving Page.

Whilst logged into your Giving Page account, find the Giving Page you would like to connect to Fitbit.
Click the link to connect to Fitbit.
You will be asked to log into your Fitbit account, if you are not logged in already.
Next you will need to accept permission for Fitbit to share your activities with Cancer Research UK, this will complete your connection.
Once connected you will be able to choose your settings for Fitbit.
You can update your settings at any time. Please note, you can't connect your Fitbit to more than one Giving Page at a time. You'll need to disconnect Fitbit from another page before you connect it to a new one.
You can set or change your Fitbit step target at any time in your Giving Page Fitbit settings. To access these settings, select the ‘Change Fitbit Settings’ on your Giving Page.
Your activity might be missing because it falls outside of your Giving Page activity date range. You can view or edit the date range from the ‘Change Fitbit Settings' section on your Giving Page. Your Giving Page will update with the latest data from your Fitbit account. To make sure your Giving Page is showing your latest steps total, regularly sync your Fitbit app with your fitness tracking device or fitness app. If your Giving Page is taking longer than an hour to update, it might be an issue with your Fitbit account. Fitbit help Check Fitbit troubleshoot information If you've followed the Fitbit troubleshoot guidance and your Giving Page is still not updating, please disconnect your Fitbit account from your Giving Page and reconnect it.
You currently cannot delete individual activities from your Giving Page. If you would like to be able to delete individual activities from your Giving Page in future, please get in touch. Get in touch
Disconnecting from Fitbit will stop Fitbit sharing new activities to your Giving Page and will delete all existing Fitbit activities from your Giving Page. You can disconnect from Fitbit by following the ‘Disconnect Fitbit’ process from the Fitbit setting section on your Giving Page. If you would like Fitbit to stop sharing activities to your Giving Page, review the date range you have in your Fitbit settings as this dictates the date range in which Fitbit will share activities with Cancer Research UK.
The activity tracker on your Giving Page shows a total of all Fitbit activities on your page. When you change your activity date range in your Giving Page Fitbit settings, this will update your activity tracker to show the total steps completed during your new date range.
Don't worry if you don't have a Fitbit tracker or smart watch. You can still automatically share updates to your Giving Page as long as you have the Fitbit app on your smartphone and an account. Simply download the Fitbit app for free and enable MobileTrack. This will share your step information from your smart phone to the Fitbit app. Download Fitbit app(link is external) Download MobileTrack(link is external) Once you've downloaded the Fitbit app and created a Fitbit login, you'll be able to connect it to your Giving Page.
