Nowhere FUNdraisers for Cancer Research UK Giving Page
We are 6 ladies looking to have fun, whilst raising much needed funding for research into cancer. Our chair-person is Maggie, Treasurer is Linda, Minutes Secretary is Jackie and we are also joined by Boo, Connie and Bridget. We formed in 2022 and have raised over £30,000 in our first 3 years.
We usually meet monthly at each other’s houses or sometimes at a pub. These meetings involve good discussions about events we would like to organise and how we can achieve them. The area we cover is Nailsea, Clevedon, and surrounding villages.
We are all passionate about raising funds to help beat cancer and there are various ways you can help us as follows:

You may like to organise an event of your own for Cancer Research. We can happily support you with this.

We have organised a number of events, from a stall at Nailsea Farmer’s Market, quiz nights, fashion shows and carol singing, to a very successful musical comedy night. We also 'Turned Nailsea Pink' for the first time in 2025 and the whole community came together to join us in raising over £12,000 for the charity. This is set to be an annual event, with the next one planned for April 2026.
