Coping practically with cancer
You may qualify for government benefits if you have cancer or care for someone with cancer. This might be to help support you if you have to stop working, or for extra costs.
Working out which benefits you can apply for can be difficult. And applying for them can be time consuming. A number of organisations can help.
There are charities that can offer grants and information about grants to adults and children with cancer and their families.
There are people and organisations that can help with benefits advice and information. They can help people with cancer and their carers.
There are charities that offer financial support to current and former members of the armed services, and those who make their living at sea.
