Through our International Cancer Prevention (ICP) programme, Cancer Research UK is accepting Expressions of Interest for the HPV Vaccination Grants Programme 2025. This initiative supports global efforts to eliminate cervical cancer by increasing HPV vaccine uptake among adolescent girls in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through policy-relevant research, advocacy, capacity building, and peer learning.
We will be funding two to three projects, each with a grant value between £100,000 and £200,000, for a duration of 18 to 30 months. Projects should support one or more of the following goals:
Support the introduction of government-supported HPV vaccination programmes
Sustain or scale up existing programmes
Integrate HPV vaccination into broader public health initiatives
Reach underserved or high-risk adolescent girls
This funding call is open to organisations or coalitions based in eligible LMICs in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or the Caribbean. Applicants may include:
cancer organisations
youth groups
medical societies
women’s groups
research institutions
civil society organisations
advocacy groups
Coalitions of the above
Organisations new to HPV vaccination are encouraged to apply.
