Fever and infection
Fever can be one of the first symptoms of an infection somewhere in your body. Infections can sometimes be life threatening. Contact your healthcare team immediately if you think you might have an infection.
Cancer and cancer treatments can make it more likely for you to get an infection. There are many different types of infections.
It is important to try and find out what is causing your infection. This helps doctors choose the right treatment for you.
