A regional Be Clear on Cancer pilot for ovarian cancer, took place in the North West of England from 10 February to 16 March 2014. The briefings and information on these pages generally relates to this campaign.
The campaign’s key message is ‘Feeling bloated, most days, for three weeks or more could be a sign of ovarian cancer. Tell your doctor’ The advertising explains that finding cancer early makes it more treatable.
The Be Clear on Cancer brand has been used to promote awareness and early diagnosis of ovarian cancer since April 2012. It was piloted locally from April to July 2012 and progressed to a regional pilot in February 2014.
