How we support drug discovery research

We fund a broad portfolio of investigator-led biotherapeutic and small molecule drug discovery, supported by an extensive core-funded infrastructure including four small molecule Drug Discovery Units and the CRUK-MedImmune Alliance Laboratory.

How we develop new treatments

At the CRUK Centre for Drug Development (CDD) we translate today’s science into tomorrow’s medicine. The academic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors across the globe trust us to realise the full potential of their research. This is why we are the partner of choice for early phase cancer drug development.

How we develop new treatments

Combinations Alliance

This is a joint initiative by our Experimental Cancer Medicine Centres and pharmaceutical collaborators to increase the number of clinical trials using new combinations of treatment for cancer.

Commercial Partnerships

Our Commercial Partnerships team develops promising ideas into successful cancer therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics and enabling technologies.
