Talk Cancer – Cancer Awareness Training

Talk Cancer speech bubbles

Do you want to raise awareness of cancer in your local area and make a difference in your community?

Our Talk Cancer training workshops could be the answer.

Talk Cancer trainee quote2More than four in ten cases of cancer may be prevented through lifestyle changes. And thousands more lives could be saved if cancer was diagnosed earlier.

Community-based staff and local volunteers are ideally placed to promote cancer awareness and encourage people to take positive action for their health.

But talking about cancer can be difficult. This is where we can help.

Our Talk Cancer workshops equip and empower community-based staff – building their knowledge, skills and confidence to talk about cancer.

These workshops can be commissioned in your local area or alternatively, we run open access workshops across the UK for individuals to book onto.

In addition to our core one-day Talk Cancer workshop, we can also deliver bespoke cancer awareness and early diagnosis workshops that are tailored to your local needs.

To find out more, contact us by email talkcancer@cancer.org.uk or phone 020 3469 8111. And for regular updates of what we're up to, follow us on twitter @TalkCancer_CRUK
