Medway health worker quotation bubbleDo you want to raise awareness of cancer in your local area and take action to support early diagnosis?

Our Talk Cancer training workshops could be the answer.

The early diagnosis of cancer can often mean the difference between a poor prognosis and long-term survival or cure. And more than 4 in 10 cancer cases could be prevented in the first place by changes to lifestyle.

Community-based health staff are ideally placed to promote awareness of cancer and encourage positive behaviour change among the public. But talking about cancer can be difficult, and this is where we can help.

Our Talk Cancer workshops can equip and empower community-based health staff – building their knowledge, skills and confidence to talk about cancer.

These workshops can be commissioned in your local area.

To find out more, contact us by email talkcancer@cancer.org.uk or phone 020 3469 8450

In addition to our core one-day Talk Cancer workshop, we can also deliver bespoke cancer awareness and early diagnosis workshops that are tailored to your local needs.
