Research near you
The Cancer Research UK Centres are located across the UK. They the aim to deliver world-class translational research, improving care for local patients and increasing engagement with people in the surrounding area.
Our Centres aren’t just buildings made of bricks and mortar. They are local partnerships between universities, NHS Trusts and other charities. Together we work as a collective force leading pioneering, life-saving research to help beat cancer sooner.
The Centres are integral to delivering our research strategy. We review them every three years to ensure their scientific excellence. Our existing 18 Centres have recently been reviewed and funding of the successful Centres will start in April 2014 for another 3 years. For more information on existing Centres then check their individual pages below.
