Metastatic endometrial stromal sarcoma, now there's a mouthful! But that's what I have and have been living in a bit of a state of limbo since I was diagnosed last year.

  • Hello mariondevon,

Wow that is indeed a mouthful, a bit of a tongue twister isn't it?

I hope you will get to chat to some of our other members who have been diagnosed with Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. It does help to talk to others who are in a similar position and we have had quite a few members in the past join the forum and share their experience of living with endometrial stromal sarcoma.

Most recently, [@Jane5453]‍ posted to share her story on this thread so don't hesitate to drop her a line as I am sure she would be happy to hear from you.

I hope you will get talking soon to some of our other members who are in a similar position.

Best wishes and a big welcome to our forum,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator

  • Hello - All sounds very similar bar the endometrial bit - mine was uterine. Basically I had stage 3 uterine cancer that had spread to one ovary so while not the same it is more similar than some. Have you had any treatment and what is the plan??? I had total hysterectomy, chemo, radio and bracytherapy. Was diagnosed last Dec and finished treament end of July, Still in limbo with issues and trying to get back to normal living but it is hard. xxx
