A warm welcome to our forum! I am so pleased to hear that your cancer was at stage 1 and that you didn't need chemotherapy. I am sorry to hear though that this has had an effect on your eating habits and on your weight. I think it would be a good idea to speak to your doctor about this  and ask whether you could be referred to a dietitian who will be able to recommend changes you can make to your diet or have tips that are adapted to your particular situation taking into account that you had Stage 1 colorectal cancer and that you have a permanent ileostomy. A dietician is experienced in working with people with special dietary needs due to health conditions.

We also have general information on our website about diet and cancer which includes a section on healthy eating. But I think given your particular circumstances, you would most benefit from talking to a dietician if you haven't done so already.
