Hi, my name is Nat and I lost my mother to cancer in February 2020.
She was full of life until this horrible disease took her over. Diagnosed in January 2019 with Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer of the Psoas Muscle (one of the rarest sites you could find a cancer). CarboTaxol treatment commenced, following with radiotherapy. This was able to shrink the cancer. However, in July 2019, found out she had liver metastasis, whereby they performed a RF Ablation that was able to "cure" the cancer. Scan 4 months later and was found to have at least 5 tumours scattered around her liver, put on CarboTaxol again as palliative therapy. This didn't work, so was put on Liposomal Doxorubicin and 1 week after this she passed away with all the family at her bedside.
I have done so much research this past year about all types of cancer (especially Cervical/Liver), and hope I can put this to good knowledge to help some of you.
