Hi, I'm 42. I received a totally shocking diagnosis of ER/PR+, HER2+ Mucinous BC on 14/06. It's been a complete whirlwind of appointments and scans. Will find out my results and oncology plan Friday 28 June. They have said chemo first to try and shrink it then surgery. I will update once I know more.
BC is not in my family. I don't drink, smoke, eat healthily and I breastfed my children. I did everything they say to do to avoid BC. But BC has no rules. I have been on an emotional roller-coaster since day one but these forums have helped me immensely. I come back each day to catch up on everyone's posts.
Update: Appointment with Oncologist 28/06. All scans came back clear it hasn't spread or grown any more. So relieved! Really the best outcome I could have hoped for from today. Will have 6 cycles of treatment FEC-T / TPT, lumpectomy then radiotherapy. Please feel free to message / friend me.
Onwards and upwards ladies!
