Hi, I am very worried  about my 31 year old daughter. She has been bleeding since 4th August, loosing so much blood. She saw a nurse practitioner who prescribed Tranexamic Acid tablets which are supposed to stop the bleeding but it hasn’t. She is waiting for an internal scan appointment but has been told today it could take 8 weeks. Her doctors surgery don’t seem to be worried about the heavy and prolonged bleeding. Years ago my daughter was diagnosed with Endometriosis but I am concerned the healthcare professionals are assuming this is the cause and not looking to see if there is anything else going on. She lives a long way from me otherwise I would be tempted to go into the surgery and make a fuss!!

I am so worried!!
