Same here. Have been referred to breast clinic, will be going tomorrow. My sister had cancer. My symptoms started with a small pink area and localized pain last week. the pink area got better but as you say feels 'ropey' and the pain is still there. No other symptoms. 

Please did anyone had the same symptoms??

I too have been referred for aching breast, particularly my left one which seems a lot denser than the other. 

One doctor said they found a lump-3 others haven’t so my mind is racing away with me/can’t stop sporadically crying! 

Mine is just the aching though/denser feeling-becomes particularly bad week before period ...and when I press on an upper rib on the left side feels like I’m pressing a bruise! 

Super scared :( mine isn’t for another 2 week :(

Similar to mine when I press it feels like a bruise, but it's normal to have sore breasts before period, including some lumps, then they go away. I used to when I had periods, so don't worry too much but in any way get checked!

I don't have periods anymore, so pretty weird stuff, unless I've bumped somewhere and cannot remember.  I'll let you know what happens tomorrow as am probably just panicking and it's going to be totally something else ;)

Exactly! I’m glad we’re all in the same position. 

Someone at work just asked me how my doctors appointment went and I just burst into tears...can’t seem to have any hold on my emotions! 

Agreed, mine starts hurting usually 2 weeks before my period-it’s very sporadic really :/ 

I too have been prodding...for a good 6 months!

Generally pain that relates with your period is supernormal-hormonal breast soreness, don't fall appart until you have the results. x

I think it was the fact that there was a lump found-it terrified me. And it’s been on/off pain since January/sometimes worse than other times. I stupidly Googled and of course that was not the best thing to do.

Guess we’ll see-mind always jumps to the worse thing!

Don't worry too much Lucie, I had lumps before my periods, this can be cysts that swell with hormonal period. Dr Google is scary! x
