If you're Mum lives in the UK, you might be able to get support from MacMillans, or a similar agency.
Has the hospital given her a list of local agencies which offer support?

Thanks for replying Dave,yes we are in the UK ,the hospital haven't told us anything I've got a district nurse coming Tuesday so will ask her. Thanks

I can understand why you are worried - your poor mum is lucky to have you by her side to take her to the toilet during the night.
